Your words. Your selected forms.
YOUR SELECTED FORMS
Start by confirming what you want typed. The three checks below define the preparation work.
If you need help deciding what to request or how an answer affects your rights, speak with an attorney before having it typed.
These checks help keep the requested work clear before an appointment.
Ask about typing your written answers into forms you have selected. You decide what your answers say.
Tell us each form’s name and number. Bring the current packet and any instructions that came with it. Confirm which pages the office can prepare.
Read the prepared pages before signing or filing. Check names, dates, addresses, and numbers against your records. Ask about any entry that differs from the information you supplied.
The records you need depend on your selected forms. Start with the documents below.
For financial questions, use your own records to supply the answers. These may include income statements, account statements, bills, or debt balances. We do not decide how property, debts, support, or other legal issues should be handled.
In your first message, send the form names and the type of typing help needed. Arrange how to share full documents with the office.
Keep a copy of each notice and filed page.
OFFICIAL LOCAL AND FLORIDA RESOURCES
305 Fenix is a private document preparation business. It is not the Clerk’s Office or the court’s Self-Help Program. Use the official resources below to review court instructions before requesting typing.
Miami-Dade’s Family Court Self-Help Program states that people handling divorce cases without an attorney must use its packets or forms in substantial compliance, unless the court waives the requirement. Review the current packet information before asking a private office to prepare pages. Paying for typing does not replace a court requirement.
Florida Courts says a nonlawyer who helps complete family law forms must provide the required disclosure before helping. The person receiving help and the preparer should each keep a copy. The forms may also have a section that identifies the person who helped prepare them.
The Family Court Self-Help Program lists a location at the Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center in downtown Miami. Check its current location, appointment process, and instructions before traveling. Florida Courts also provides family law forms. Questions about which process applies to you, including simplified divorce, require review of the official instructions or advice from an attorney.
SCOPE, COST, AND CORRECTIONS
A preparation quote does not guarantee court acceptance, a hearing date, or a divorce outcome. The court controls its decisions and schedule.
Step 1
Provide the selected form names and written answers. Tell us whether you have received a court notice or already filed documents.
Step 2
Ask for the preparation fee and the forms included. Confirm whether copies, later changes, or any other requested tasks cost extra.
Our preparation fee is separate from court filing fees and any Self-Help Program charges. Check the Clerk’s current fees before budgeting for the full process.
Step 3
Ask how to report a typed entry that does not match your written answer. Confirm any correction terms before paying.
Severe weather can affect travel and court operations in Miami-Dade.
Before a court visit, check official closure notices and the instructions for your case. Keep readable copies of your forms, notices, and filing receipts where you can reach them.
Do not assume that a storm changes your deadline or cancels your hearing. Review the notice or order that applies to your court and date. Ask an attorney if you need help understanding its legal effect.
Check the Florida Supreme Court’s weather-related emergency orders and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s announcements.
